FDS Puppet Show

Here are the questions asked by the puppets in The Quaker Kids Club and the Big Mouth Quakers.

What are some things we can do to prepare ourselves for coming to Meeting? (Allow enough time so we are not rushed and so we get to Meeting on time.)

How do we know when Meeting for Worship has started? (When the first person sits down.)

If you are late coming into worship or when First Day School ends, what should you do if someone is speaking?  (Wait until a few minutes after the speaker stops speaking.)

Is it okay to come into Meeting for Worship late?  Do you ever come in late? (come on, be honest)

How many people get mad when people come into Meeting for Worship late? (wait for audience response with each answer.)

What do you do during Meeting for Worship? (wait for audience response)

How do you quiet yourself or settle into worship?  (wait for audience response)

How many people have ever fallen asleep in Meeting for Worship (be honest!)

Is it okay to read books during worship? (wait for audience response, but you can then add that it is usually okay to read if it helps you settle into worship and if you turn the pages quietly)

Is it okay to eat or drink during worship?  (wait for audience response but then you can say that it is okay to use a cough drop or sip of water if you have a cough but eating or drinking could be distracting to others)

At what age should children stop going to First Day School and stay in worship the whole time?  (wait for audience response, but you can then add that children aged 12 usually stay in worship the whole time but it also may depend on whether or not there is a class for teens.)

Does God or the Spirit speak through children?  (wait for audience to speak but you can then say Yes!)

How do you know if you have a message or just want to say something?  (wait for audience response)

Our last question is How many  people liked this puppet show? (applause, applause)

Puppets and puppet holders come out in front of theatre and are introduced.
